菲律宾在职留学博士申请签证方面常识：
1、可停留时间(指的是入境后在菲当地的时间)。菲律宾目前的签证主要是14天、30和59天的，厦门可以办理59天的，在北京等地一般办理是30天的。
2、办理后到出境有效期。签证办理后是90天的有效期，就是说你拿到签证在九十天内出发就可以了，超过九十天后签证将自动作废。
3、需要准备的材料：
(1)往返机票;
(2)两万元以上的存款证明(建议冻结3个月以上)去银行开或者英文的在职证明。
(3)2张申请表。
(4)两张6个月内拍摄的白底彩色照片35×45mm。
(5)有效期6个月以上的护照原件(持换发护照者，提供所有旧护照原件)。。
(6)如有去过菲律宾，需要上次的签证原件(说是需要，我去的时候，给了他们也没有要。
(7)2张正反两面身份证复印件。
